NCAA Tournament 2001 - UConn Back in Final Four

Diana Taurasi and UConn are St. Louis-bound.

UConn Back in Final Four
So much for UConn being hurt by the loss of Shea Ralph and Svetlana Abrosimova. While some wondered if UConn could defend its national title without its two All-Americans, the Huskies clinched a return trip to the Final Four. UConn rolled over Louisiana Tech 67-48 in the East final to earn the trip to St. Louis. UConn will face Big East rival Notre Dame, which edged Vanderbilt in the Midwest final.
