HERSHEY, Pa. (AP) _ Milan Hejduk scored two power-play goals and assisted on another to lead the Colorado Avalanche to a 5-2 exhibition victory over the Pittsburgh Penguins on Saturday.

Hejduk opened the scoring at 6:03 of the first period when he skated in from the left wing boards to beat Pens goalie Mark Scally.

Aleksey Morozov tied it for the Penguins three minutes later, but the Avs took advantage of a pair of two-man advantages for two more power-play tallies a minute and a half apart. Ray Bourque, with Hejduk assisting, scored from the right point, then Adam Deadmarsh slammed a rebound past the fallen goaltender.

The Penguins made it close when Darius Kasparaitis beat Colorado netminder David Aebischer with a quick wrist shot with 1:44 left in the first period.

The Avs built on their lead when Hejduk deflected the puck past Joel Laing, who had taken over in goal midway through the second period, for his second goal and the Avs' fourth power play at 17:14. Mike Craig's unassisted goal at 9:47 of the final period closed out the scoring.

Three of the game's four fights broke out in the final two minutes.

Colorado (3-2) was 4-14 on the power play and the Penguins (2-3) were 0-6.
