ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) -- Taj McWilliams made a layup with 10.1 seconds remaining as Orlando beat Charlotte 69-68 on Saturday night to take a half-game lead in the WNBA's Eastern Conference. Charlotte's Andrea Stinson missed a 15-foot jumper with seven-tenths of a second remaining. Nykesha Sales led Orlando (7-5) with 22 points and 10 rebounds. Adrienne Johnson added 13 points and McWilliams had 12. Stinson, Tiffany Travis and Tracy Reid each had 13 points for Charlotte (2-10) and Shalonda Enis added 12. McWilliams gave the Miracle a 67-63 lead with 2:26 left, but Charlotte countered with Dawn Staley's 3-pointer and Stinson's basket to take a 68-67 lead. Reid had a chance to extend Charlotte's lead, but missed two free throws with 28.4 seconds remaining. Orlando has beaten the Sting three times this season by a combined seven points.
