AUBURN HILLS, Mich. (AP) -- Vicky Bullett had 21 points and 11 rebounds to lead the Washington Mystics to a 76-70 victory over the Detroit Shock on Saturday night. Nikki McCray added 20 points for Washington (6-5), and Muriel Page had 10 points and seven rebounds. Dominique Canty led Detroit (5-6) with 14 points, Wendy Palmer had 13 and Elena Tornikidou 12. The Mystics led 39-30 at halftime behind 14 points from Bullett, and were up 49-39 with 15:28 to go. But the Shock rallied, with Tornikidou scoring eight points in a 12-4 surge that tied it at 57 with 8:17 left. Keisha Anderson and McCray scored the next four points, and the Mystics led 63-60 with five minutes left. Bullett made it a five-point game with an open jumper off McCray's pass, and after a turnover, McCray scored on a possession that included two easy offensive rebounds for Washington. The Mystics gave Detroit a chance to get back into the game, but Canty and Palmer each split a pair of free throws. After Palmer's jumper brought the Shock within three at 67-64 with 2:50 left, Page answered with a three-point play off yet another offensive rebound. The visiting team has won five of the last six games in the series, with Washington's 80-55 decision Monday the only home victory. | ALSO SEE WNBA Scoreboard RECAPS Minnesota 60 Cleveland 57
