PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) -- Sophia Witherspoon and Alisa Burras each scored 22 points as the Portland Fire beat the Cleveland Rockers 80-69 on Wednesday night. Burras also had seven rebounds for the Fire (3-8). Merlakia Jones scored 16 points for the Rockers (7-6). Portland was ahead by 13 points with 2:35 left, but Cleveland scored five points with less than a minute to go. Mery Andrade stole a pass from Sylvia Crawley and hit a layup to cut the lead to seven and at 76-69 before Stacey Thomas and Tully Bevilaqua hit free throws to end the run. Portland shot 73 percent in the first five minutes to take a 21-7 lead.
