BOX SCORE
ANAHEIM, California (Ticker) -- Guy Hebert looked in midseason form, stopping all 29 shots, and Ruslan Salei and Marty McInnis provided the offense as the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim blanked the Los Angeles Kings, 2-0. Hebert, who recorded a career-high six shutouts in 69 games last season, faced 11 shots in the first and nine in each of the final two periods. Salei opened the scoring 3:45 into the second period. His shot from the left point hit Stephane Fiset's stick, popped in the air and fell into the net after glancing off the goaltender's glove. McInnis' power-play goal with 5:13 remaining capped the scoring for the Mighty Ducks, who improved to 2-1-1 in the preseason. Anaheim rested superstar left wing Paul Kariya. Fiset made 20 saves for Los Angeles, which won its first two exhibition contests. The Kings were scoreless on six power-play chances.
